It’s a pretty quick turnaround but I decided to sign up for the St. Paul Monster dash on October 26th. Now that summer has come and gone I needed to stay motivated and keep fit throughout the fall and winter months.
Outside of CrossFit training I try to run 1-3 miles a couple times per week, but have never really run for more than 6 miles. After signing up for this 10 miler I needed an extra boost to get trained in under 6 weeks, especially with my hypothyroidism condition constantly causing me to struggle with feeling fatigued. Thankfully ENERGYbits came to my rescue.
I received a sample of ENERGYbits at the Healthy Living Summit this year and have tested it out a few times. The serving size is 30 bits, but with my first couple of tries I took 12-15 bits. Within 15-25 minutes I felt alert and full of energy, but not jittery like caffeine makes me feel. They are easy on my stomach, make my appetite subside so that I am not hungry while working out after work, and are a clean, health conscious way of getting energy outside of caffeine.
Instead of doing my normal 1-3 mile run my first time trying ENERGYbits I was able to go 4 miles, no problem, and at the fastest pace I have ever run. The other night, I was feeling so great after one of my runs I had enough energy to run a few errands and then decided to run a cool down mile after getting home. Who does that?!?! I am officially in love with ENERGYbits now and don’t go to a workout without taking a few prior.
Thanks to ENERGYbits great support and partnership they have offered to do a giveaway with my readers. To win a sample of these amazing fitness fuel tablets you can do any of the following. The individual with the most points by October 11th will be named the winner.
– 1 pt – Comment on post
– 2 pts – Tweet about the giveaway linking back to Brunette Anthem
It’s never a question of can you do it, it’s a question of do you have the drive and motivation to do it.
Note: ENERGYbits are only available at ENERGYbits.com, and Johnathan (their Brand Manager) has shared with me that he’d be happy to connect anyone with a current ambassador to share a discount on a bag of bits. Feel free to email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
